And this proves my point; you had to have your player extensively modified to raise it's CD playback level up to that of the 'big boys', although of course in the UK we tend to swing lower than our US counterparts (and no, it's not because we're shorter)!

If I spent as much on my DAC & transport as you did on your player I'd be swinging even lower than I am now. :0)
