*I* wasn't saying Omega II was better than X9000. I was asking you why you said "I also own the SR-007MK2 headphones, and the Omega's are noticeably better." I guess you had your Omegas mixed up.

On the other hand, there are audiophiles who do say the 20 year old Omega II is better than X9000 (and SR009, any xx9 series). When powered by powerful 'stat amp, they say Omega II bass becomes much more dynamic and extended with much richer and smoother midrange, being preferred to xx9 series "brighter, less natural" "less warm" sound.
