Worth the wait

The Schiit Asgard Headphone amplifier arrived today (a day early) and sounds really great, without any break-in. Perhaps it will improve in days to come.

My stereo is powered by a Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II and the headphone out built into the amp is known to be sub-par. in fact, that one of the things that Rogue audio improved in the newer III version of that amp.

The Asgard is a Class A headphone amp that has pretty great reviews and costs only $199.

It's already sounding vastly better than the Cronus Magnum II sounded with my Meze Classic 99 headphones.
