Headphone plug repair

Posted by jedrider on June 29, 2018 at 17:39:33:

These plugs are absolutely amazing in their build quality.

Everything is so--oh tiny and yet it all fits, and snuggly too, and does the job. Seems to work with really tiny cables, medium size and larger too. Invariably, the inner wires are very tiny, which is why they break. Don't know about Cardas cables, though, which may have thicker inner wires, and may not work with the tiny connections of this Neutrik plug.

I've repair two low priced headphones, very thin and not so thin cables, and it seems impossible that it will all fit without coming apart, but it does. Very tight tolerances.
