Right now you can purchase the Sennheiser HD 558 @ Best Buy/ Magnolia Audio for $100. ! A steal of a deal for an entry level audiophile headphone The difference between these and the HD 598 besides the color is that the top end on the HD 598 sizzles a little more... AND the headband is one continuous piece as opposed to the HD 598 which has the pocketed sections on the headband. I found the sound on the HD 558 to be very neutral but slightly veiled.... YMMV...
