I liked the new grills but not the foam mods

I used to own the HD580. The new grills alone make it sound identical to a stock HD600. The foam mods make it sound like something different.

To each his own, but I prefer them with the stock foam. However, I do agree that the HD580 with new metal grills looks killer - better looking than the 600 or the 650 IMO.
