so after going to the CANJAM in Costa MESA for the last 4 years :

the STAX cans win !

Dudes I heard everything - all the orthos / the dynamics / set amps with ultra exotic globe triodes / solid state amps of every manner from entry to ultra high end.

every single time the STAX won - no not the same slam as the orthos but from the angle of which sounds like real music - electrostatics

thats even with a whole cross section of amps from STAX entry level to the blue hawaiian gilmore design - to the big WOO to the Cavalli audio -

anyone interested or should i stop ?????
