Well said. I'm ditching the very old Standesign 5 metal rack which has five fixed shelves, all open but rather dated and rings badly.

I'll have the TT, Pre, Dac on top of the cabinet so all cabling is exposed but hanging off the back. All other ancillary gear on the shelves including that which has a remote.
Now that the development work is nearly complete, I have the desire to tidy up the room. lol courtesy NC
