RE: "Who in their right mind would voluntarily put themselves in NYC in the summer?"

Posted by SpotcheckBilly12345 on May 30, 2017 at 11:52:18:

Then "a helluva lot of people" must not mind the stench of both human and animal excrement as it cooks in the sunlight on the hot asphalt streets and the baking concrete sidewalks, among other equally disgusting things.

The people with money and brains flee this NYC hell-hole in the summer and head for the Hamptons or the Adirondacks.

Only tourists looking to score a nice hotel room or Broadway show on the cheap and crazed audiophiles who desperately need their seasonal ration of industry bullshit are nuts enough to be in Manhattan during the summer months, that is unless they live in places like India. In that case, all bets are off ;-)

I'll spend my summers in the mountains or at the seashore, thank you.

Cheers,
SB
