Cost effective cable risers

Posted by House13 on April 8, 2017 at 14:21:27:

I solved the cable elevator issue. I have porcelain tile over a concrete floor. My concern is not static electricity but rather lifting stiff and heavy cables to clean under them. Additionally, nylon braided jackets attract and hold dust from the floor.

My wife shops at Tuesday Mornings and I accompanied her the other day. I bought four bathroom wash cloth stands. They have huge rings which easily accommodate the large TARA connectors and the cable weight. They are perfect for cables having separate positive and negative runs as mine do. They are heavy pieces, a good height and the right brushed silver shade.

The best part is they are only $8.00 each. They only had four in the store and I ideally wanted six. She will pick up two more for me when she next shops at another store. She goes to all of them here and elsewhere. I kept the tags on them in the event a return was necessary. It isn't!
