Interesting. I don't know if there is anything I would not sell. They're all just material possessions.

I don't think I could become that attached to any of my stereo equipment to be perfectly honest. (I just don't have any sort of emotional attachment to any of this stuff.) They're all just stepping stones to better sound, and I am more than willing to part with one, or more, pieces of my system to get to the next level of sound reproduction.

That being said, I do really like all of my equipment that I presently own, as evidenced by the amount of time that I have held onto them. The average age I've owned each of the pieces of my system is probably around 7 years, give or take. I don't keep any of my old equipment, as I sell it off asap to help pay for my current equipment. But, I guess if I had to pick one, it would probably be my Resolution Audio Opus 21 CD player. Not that it is the best I've ever heard or anything, (it's not), it is just that it is as good as I ever need for my secondary source - vinyl being my primary source.

(FYI: I only have one real stereo system, with the others being merely for background music at my work or in my bedroom, and neither of those are high-end.)

Now, if you were to talk about never parting with particular slabs of vinyl ... Ah, there is where I have some definite emotional attachment to some of my favorite pressings of my favorite albums!
