RE: Nice try

A few thoughts and questions:

1) How do you know how much cash Thiel has or doesn't have in relation to its scope of operations? Do you work for them? Are you their CPA?

2) Why not give us the facts and figures to which you apparently are privy to support your contentions with regard to the British manufacturers?

3) Ditto Tyler Acoustics.

4) Why are you so confident about Wilson Audio? Do you also have access to its financial information? Or is it simply because they charge huge sums for all of their products? Frankly, it seems logical to me that a firm like Wilson, with so many eggs in so few baskets, could quite easily be adversely affected by even a relatively small downturn in sales.

5) Tell me where I ever said any or all of these companies are doing well. I have no way of knowing. But neither do you, which is exactly my point: I'm not speculating and/or rumor mongering, because, unlike you. I'm not willing to natter on about something for which I have absolutely no supporting information.

The problem, which you clearly didn't grasp from my previous post, is that unfounded Internet rumors can spread like a cancer and have a serious negative impact upon small companies. When some people see stuff like yours, they may later say, "Oh, yeah, I saw somewhere that Thiel is having financial problems, so I'd better avoid them," not remembering, of course, that the source for the information was completely without foundation.

And why, of all the companies you could have chosen from virtually the entire field of high end audio, did you choose to focus on those you did? Do you have an axe to grind with these particular companies?
