My Mom could hear the difference between Original Monster, 12 Gauge Discwasher and 14 Gauge lamp cord

from the other room while doing dishes! How? All three behaved differently in the bass which she could hear through the walls. The monster had the thickest and deepest bass, next was the lamp cord (believe it or not) followed by the Discwasher cable.
In this blind test while preforming other functions she was right 100% of the time. Where the hell do they get all these lame testers? or What are they doing to sabotage the tests?
Personally I have never heard two different brands interconnects or speaker cables that sound the same. Some people say cables are expensive tone controls, but even though the tonal qualities are vastly different. the difference is in cable construction, induction, compliance, etc. Which changes the behavior of the speakers thus changing the timbre.
Can you tell me any two cables or two components that sound the same? I don't believe they exist, at the very least I have never found them.
As a bass lover, surely you can tell the difference in bass response with every cable out there on the market and I bet you can name at least a dozen brands that are lame in the lower regions. So who are you trying to fool?
Or a bigger question if what you claim is true that no audiophile can hear the difference between cables, how do you explain my mom doing it when she was not even critically listening.
Also take three different cables and give me about three days to get used to the sound of each and I will be able to name each cable in a blind listening test. The sound of cables and speakers are more drastically different than the sound of components.
Music is love,
Mono is not music to my ears.
Give me stereo or give me silence!
