OTOH, I'd say the next 5-8-10 yrs will be a watershed for Hi Performance audio. As Marks noted, this is a maturing/matured business. We all have systems, and it's no longer a novelty. Used CDs and Audiogon are the children.

AFAIK, many established US companies have the majority of their sales International rather than domestic. Read: Far East. I recall reading this about Wilson, though I have no citations.

The back of an Audioquest cable box (Colorado ICs) is printed in 8 languages. The conductors are alleged to be US sourced, but these *very* high priced items are Made In China.

Everything mutates, except death and taxes...
