different listening chair - different sound??

Posted by Shane from AUS on April 15, 2007 at 04:47:01:

Not sure if placebo efect or just plain maddness is taking place here.

My favourite chair has been off being repaired, so I have been listening to my music on another chair. This chair has the back ending just below the ear level.

Got my old chair back ( back of chair just above ear level) and swapped them. The system sounds a little different with different chairs.
New chair has a little fuller bass and taller old chair is a little airer/brighter in the treble?.

Am I insane or is the back level of the chair effecting the sound.

Now I am not sure which chair I like!!!

I would be interested if any other inmates have experienced this.
