I had a very telling conversation with an audio importer recently, concerning why he doesn't have more state side stores carrying his products.

His response was that he's had to pull his products from a number of them because all they cared about was selling as many units as possible.

This particular importer imports high end stuff and insists it be sold only by very reputable dealers who offer the best customer service.

And to hear him tell it, it's become very hard to find good dealers in the states.
