Re: Amp for Allison two's

Wow! Great find... I would suggest going to allison-speakers@yahoogroups.com. Very nice forum for all things Allison and more. I have a nearly 30 year old pair of Allison Fours in my system and have driven them, with very good results, with a Tandberg 2055 receiver and more recently a Marantz SR 48 MK II. Both have outputs in the mid 50 watt range. I think a good receiver would be fine. ( Marantz, Outlaw, NAD, Sherwood Newcastle, etc.) A nice integrated would be an excellent choice also. ( So many to choose from ). But, before you make any decision go to the Allison Forum. Some very well informed people hang out there and are very willing to give suggestions on how to bring those Allison two's back to life. Have fun. Joe
