I fully agree with this review. I own the 2226B and it is a very well bult piece, has a great sound and looks nice too....very tube-ish. This reciever sounds like it has a lot more that 26/side. I drive a variety of speakers with it: Jennings Research towers, AR2, Dynaco-25, Bozak B300.

Other Marantz recievers I own: 2215B, 2220, 2230


Product Weakness: None that I can tell. Fuse type lamps were a pain in the rear to get to for replacing.
Product Strengths: Great looks, sounds like a tube amp
