I would agree that not all Cds clarified will have a noticeable difference in sound. It depends largely on the CD. If the CD sounds good to start with then the change might only be minimal at best. In my experience CDs that seem to be dead sounding, by that I mean bassi, muddy sounding bass, Pianos that sound dampened, no air, the music just seems bland. After clarified the CD sounded cleaner, Bass was tighter, Highs cleaner more detailed.
When you clarified the CD did you do both sides, you should.

Here is just a few CDs that come to mind that did sound better after clarified,
Etta James, "love Songs"
James taylor, "sweet Baby James"
Jackson Brown, "For everyman"
Eric Clapton, "Slow Hand"
These already good sounding CDs even sounded better,
Norah Jones, "Come away with me"
Diana Krall, "Love Scenes"
Jennifer Warnes, "Famous Blue Rain Coat"
