the ad is pretty shakey.. way too much hype. could be they don't understand marketing over here at all, but there are some signs of doubt.. eg, they claim an equivalent speaker to one of their lower end floor standers would be a usa/european made speaker costing $10K, whereas theirs is only $1.8K. that kind of marketing is bad enough, but then ck the weight of that speaker. it's under 20#. have you seen a $10K floorstanding speaker of any merit that weighs in under 20#? my tyler acoustics are 35# each and not large. floorstanding spendor s6 or the tyler 7u's weigh much more. maybe there are some lighter, decent speakers out there, but it seems that for the size, that joly box would be pretty flimsy and the magnets pretty small. i think you're right to look for an informed second opinion, at least.
