Performance Forum??

Posted by Audioq on October 2, 2002 at 06:45:54:

I cant help but notice the number of posts referring to "buzzing speakers", "roaring amps" and other equipment maladies and mismatches. Given that inmates dont seem to want a headphone asylum how about a "Performance Asylum" where inmates could post about problems with equipment matching, reliability etc and follow ups with resolution.

It's good to know when an inmate discovers that their amp has a buzz and even better to find out "oh Yeah! I called the manufacturer and they were really helpful, I made so and so adjustment on their advice and it worked!"

Who knows perhaps even some of the techies could review this every now and then and propose solutions.

Apologies if this idea has been floated before.
