Banana? the movie specifically makes the point, she is not a banana. perhaps you missed that dialog statement, made while talking with her friend about conflicts with the mom.

I went for the nice visuals, and don't mind a romantic comedy, with a senor discount and a chance for some laughs. . The girls in my row laughed more than me, as expected. I was impressed with how much singapore has changed,

I liked" the spy who dumped me" better, even though it had problems, it was much more entertaining, more laughs and fun.
