I liked it: A genocide chick flick . . .

Love before loss is predominate and this movie is for people who don't know anything about Armenia or any genocide. This is a love triangle set against a bunch of people getting shot and pushed out into the desert.

I felt Issac was too much of a love sick puppy in this one and that Bale had his dial set to eleven. Le Bon did well for the woman torn between two men not being able to figure out the American could get her to the USA for a nice life.

Not quite Merchant-Ivory production standards but close. I actually liked this. Just enough history balanced by personal strife to be interesting.
