Mark - I'm sorry to hear about your friend ... and I'm glad you liked the movie too.

Even I, a New Yorker, could intuitively tell the "covered boat guy" was the real deal but I believe the "guy from Framingham not budging for the FBI guy on the roof" was actually a woman- I wouldn't want to mess with her!

Whatever little flaws the film had, the "star" of the film was the unified spirit of all the good people in Boston.
