I caught that episode.
At first I was caught up in the deception. And I was as bewildered as the primary character. But then as the episode unfolded I was able to perceive that he was the victim of an extremely elaborate ruse designed to prevent him from knowing who he really is and, more importantly, what he is.

So far the clues given suggest that this character will be more powerful than any X-men character we've seen yet. This may or may not interest me depending on what these early episode plots point toward. How long will it take for this character to get a grip? Where's the fun; in the deceptions and hallucinations produced by this unnamed government agency or does he emerge as an all powerful adversary to the human race? Is he evil or a friend?
