I was loathing this from what I felt were painfully horrid previews and the 28% fresh rating on rottentomatoes.

Perhaps my expectations being low was part of it but I rather enjoyed this one - better than the previous two (granted that's not saying much) but I also put it ahead of Jurassic World and San Andreas as recent blockbusters.

I'm a Doctor Who fan so the timey wimey stuff was a breeze to follow (and indeed they had Doctor Who himself Matt Smith there to help people just go with it since it's the time travel trope logic). The casting was pretty solid though I would have preferred a better Reese - someone less of a jar-head.

Some of the criticism seems to be over stupid things like "this movie cancels the first two" but those arguments are usually always stupid. The first two were time travel films so of course they could in theory come back to the same time lines.
