she has a heartbreaking quality, a detached and intelligent air with an unattainability that I find very attractive.
In the very under-appreciated, "The Weather Man," (perhaps because it was helmed by Gore Verbinski who has the lightweight and over-appreciated Pirates of the Caribbean on his r�sum�?) she is a perfect foil for Nicholas Cage's mid-life crisis character.
Any other Hope fans out there? I prefer her quite a bit to Laura Linney, though she's no slouch, either......
