'Lone Star' by John Sayles - what a complex, tightly directed & edited film.
I actually thought of, er, Shakespeare
Best line?
"What happens now?" (the hero's girlfriend after they made love)
"More, I hope" (the hero)
And The Big Lebowski - a wild firecracker of a movie with an astonishing Jeff Bridges and, again, a mastery of direction.
Best line?
"He treats objects like women..."
