"Avalon" is a wonderful film. I own it and have seen it many times. It is the multi-generation saga of Polish Jews coming to America to make their fortunes and is filled with great performances, humor, and irony. You will definitely enjoy this one. I can never quite decide whather to watch it on the Foiurth of July or on Thanksgiving so I end up watching it on both.
