Loved it. What a fantastic understated film noir homage!
I find Coens movies are best on about the 3rd viewing. All the subtleties connect by then. With one or 2 exceptions, all their movies give me great pleasure. You can see their love of movies in everything they make.
I think they will do fine with the Ladykillers. I have no doubt that these guys can do any kind of movie.
