Hi,
the patchwork IS the film. It's a series of stories connected at the edges, lots of switching from story to story as one gets done, the film moves to another part of the quilt. The film acts as a quilt, wraps you up and keeps you warm. I enjoyed it for what it was, many won't enjoy it because of what it isn't. It's a pleasant little matinee romantic comedy. I always stop at a really good place that sells chocolates for these movies (Len Libbys, Rte 1 Scarborough, try the dark choc cashew clusters, or the Needham ice cream in summer).....that helps.
