I was deeply disappointed in Covenant

We left off at the end of Prometheus with two key characters--one human and one android--going off to find answers to important questions that supersede the genre. I liked how Prometheus set that up. I liked the symbolism of the abortion scene and how they flipped the script in sci fi by casting the scientists as retards. Then with Covenant we're back to a basic idiotic monster movie and the key character who survived Prometheus was nowhere to be seen. Super annoying.

But that's been a problem with Ridley Scott's career. He'll make a fantastic movie, then you go see his next one and it sucks. He would be among my fave directors if he had consistency.
