'Bullet Train': Orient express mess . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on August 5, 2022 at 19:49:51:

Pitt plays a semi=retired hitman, bag guy taking one last smash and grab job before he slips into a Zen retirement. Sounds easy enough until he realizes half of the hit guys, after the same silver briefcase, want to kill him as well.

If you've seen the previews then you pretty much have the film down. A few buckets of blood, ironic humor, and endless flashbacks pretty much make up the film.

At a hair over two hours, I was ready to step off the train before then. The rinse and repeat story went on a tad too long.

It is a way to beat the heat so don't write it off completely.
