Viking Noir . . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on April 22, 2022 at 19:59:42:

Twists and turns on the cold Northern landscape that works the audience as hard as the slaves. This mostly unpleasant story is the tale of young Prince Amleth's quest to avenge his murdered father, rescue his mother, and kill his uncle who committed the first two.

This is the noirish Viking tale yet. Very dark, very brutal, with no room for compassion or kindness. The film has a few twists that add a different color to the end.

There are no happy Vikings.

Not exactly a chick flick other than Anna Joy's trysts with Amleth. Your six year old will come out a man or a basket case. This film does get more intolerable as it goes on. Careful.
