Well, it won't be for the bible thumpers in the US that's for sure.
However, the homoerotic thing is a bit questionable because the film is hardly that.
The reason it is a pretty great film is that it generates thoughtful criticism thematically and is visually wonderful.
This review has numerous spoilers but I think explains why it's a pretty great film.
Out of the nominated films I have seen so far I would rank Titane well above them and would have nominated it for Best Film, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Director
