Could not agree with you more! POTD was terrible. 1883, on the other hand is quite good, and Elliot at his best. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see the acting abilities of country singer Tim McGraw. His 1883 wife, and real wife, country singer Faith Hill, was also good, but a bit stiffly overplayed in 1883.A damn good series that I'm sure I will watch again somewhere down the road.
