But this one runs a little deeper than most, imo, not that I'm looking for deep these days.
Still the same magical mystic sci-fi mythical overtones; you'll have to roll with that, but the main question in balance, around which the story rotates, is one we all ask. And God itself is found questionable.
The heroes themselves, for all their endless lives, have very human weaknesses and inter-relationships that are messy. It's hard to be human when you're not, even though they have tried for several thousand years.
Recommended. The effects alone are worth seeing. Really well done. It has Angelina Jolie as Athena (you might have guessed that), Salma Hayek as fearless leader (she keeps them tucked in), and others you would recognize but not know.
As usual with Marvel, you will have to sit through the end credits to see the final footage. Worth it. These guys might be the new Avengers. They refer to that group in past tense a couple of times.
