"Streisand looked very fine back then"... I agree and I would add...

that she did continue to look pretty good up until about 10 years ago. When she decided to do what everyone else in Hollywood does and go under the knife... and NOT a good one I might add. For YEARS she resisted any kind of cosmetic surgery, but as you can see now she has begun to resemble the famed "cat woman" of Beverly Hills... It's sad really.. I own ALL of her CD's and movies up until the last one (The Wall) which was basically a stab at the current President. I've always known her politics, but she never previously wore it as a badge on her work. It doesn't really matter any more, her voice is merely a shadow of what it once was. In much the same way that Sinatra should have retired, her days as a singer are sadly over and somebody should tell her so. She should retire before she tarnishes an incredible career much the way that Sinatra did. But, maybe she needs the money (which I doubt). I was lucky enough to see her live twice on her 1994 tour after 20 some years of being off the concert circuit... I saw her at the then Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim and we had a little back in forth with each other as she waited for the set-up of a song she was recording for the eventual DVD of the concert.... Someday someone will post that footage on Youtube and I'll have it....
