(fromJC)
i am posting this one more time for the benefit of those who didn't catch the message first time around...
i'm having a swap meet at my place, please feel free to come buy stuff or hang out with yr buddies... and if you have some stuff you want to sell... a spot on my floor costs $10. a big spot (if you bring lots of stuff) costs $20 and you have to take whatever you buy or don't sell here home!!!

hey folks
due to an unfortunate set of events, i am leaving my home of the last 7
years... my new home is 1/10th the size of this place. so i am planning
to let go much of my accumulated hoard of parts and tubes. i could do
this on ebay, but it galls me. i was talking to slagle about it and he
suggested a swap meet, which i think is a pretty good idea. this way it
can also turn into a diy party, "last supper", or something like that?!
anyway, the idea goes something like this: $10 for a spot, or $20 for a
big spot. audio related items ONLY, please. starts at 12:00 noon, ends at
5:00pm. i will provide coffee and bathrooms. first come, first serve. no gouging or tailgating.
please tell anyone you think might be interested in participating in
this... please email me if you would like to sell stuff here so i can get
an idea of how many people and how much floor space we will need. i
myself have mountain of useful parts to sell CHEAP! thank you very much
and i hope to see you on the 24th of january!

how to get there:
option one)

take PATH train to HOBOKEN station, go upstairs and
you'll see cabs right in front... get in and direct
the driver towards: 721 Grand St. #2. cabs in hoboken
are $3 flat fee anywhere within the city limits. i
often tip a driver $1 if he/she/it is nice.

option two)

take PATH train to HOBOKEN station, go upstairs and
walk west/north/west twoblocks till you get to
Washington St.. this is the main drag of hoboken and
it looks like it too. at this point, you will most
likely be standing on the corner of 1st st. and
Washington.... continue north on wash. (parallel to
the hudson river, which is on your right two blocks
east) until you get to 7th st.. turn left onto 7th and
walk west 5 blocks to grand street. right on grand and
walk up towards 8th st. until you see 721 (a big red
loft building). buzzer #2L and there will be a sign.
this little promenade will take 10 - 15 beautiful
minutes though lovely hoboken from the PATH station.

option three)

take the lincoln tunnel (by car) to jersey and take
the first
exit (hoboken), the road you are on winds a little but
runs pretty straight south. stay on this road. you
will pass an intersection which says "18th st. and
willow ave. (you are on willow). continue over a
little bridge over the railroad and on down to 8th st.
make a right on 8th street and go two blocks west to
grand street. make a left on grand and park anywhere
you can. you will see 721 grand between 7th and 8th
streets there.
