Chicago Audio Society meeting Sun. June 23rd - Classic Records and Birdland Audio

Posted by Brian Walsh on May 29, 2002 at 11:40:37:

Our June 23rd meeting will feature Michael Hobson and Coleman Brice of Classic Records who will demonstrate some of their recordings and be available to answer questions. Joining them for the meeting will be Gilles Gameiro of Birdland Audio who will briefly describe some of his company's products including their DACs. During the program we'll hear side by side comparisons between 24/96 digital recordings and vinyl.

There's no obligation to join, and your first meeting is free. We meet monthly year round to audition and discuss music and audio in a relaxed, friendly environment. It's a great way to meet other enthusiasts. Bring some music to play.

Meetings go from 2pm to around 5pm, with a break with refreshments about halfway through. We meet at the Dance Building in downtown Des Plaines, easy to get to by car or public transportation. Visit our web site for details.
