Soundsmith Charity Turntable/Tuner Clinic

Posted by Retipper on April 13, 2010 at 16:43:31:

Because we have received a number of calls, I would like to clarify;

To participate in, OR to attend the Soundsmith charity turntable/tuner clinic (proceeds go to the DirectGrace Record Project - see below for details)

You must call us and purchase a ticket. Tickets are $25. By purchasing a ticket, you will be entered in our raffle for a Soundsmith Aida phono cartridge - a $1000 value.

Attendees are allowed to bring up to 3 cartridges for inspection, OR bring their table to have us tweak it a bit and inspect the stylus if desired. Or....bring a tuner to have it fully spec'd while you wait.

Refreshments and light food?? You betcha. Will be play our designs?? If we can (if there isn't too mcuh dancing). Do we have anything for the ladies?? We have some high end brand new rare silk rugs from Kashmir and hand embroidered fine wool scarfs also from Kashmir for sale. Long story.

If someone purchases a lacquer as a donation for the DirectGrace project, we will try to cut it right then and there on one of our Neumann lathes. We have the Bill Frisell/Doug Wamble record, Jon Pousette Dart, Jon Hart, Mark Cosgrive, Sam Morris,....and more.

This Saturday, April 17th, from 10AM till 5PM. Help spread the word and help us rescue some children. To order tickets - 1-800 942 8009

The DirectGrace Record project (sponsored by the John Herrick Jackson Foundation (501c3) was created to make direct to disk and half speed master vinyl recordings for the audiophile community, the full profit of which goes to rescue children in the most severe forms of child slavery. Please visit:
