TU-8200 Q3 replacement

Posted by ropetrick on March 13, 2017 at 10:10:51:

I'm putting together the kit and the first set of tubes have damaged the FET (shorted pins on the JJ EL34). All the voltages check out fine.
The guys at Elekit-Japan have advised to change Q3 (left channel hum). Problem is I can't find the OEM part NDF02N60Z. A similar part number NDD02N60Z is available.

I was wondering if somebody can help advise if this is ok to replace with. The difference between the two seems to be

NDF vs. NDD:
- Package type (TO-220 vs TO-251)
- Continuous Drain Current 2.4 vs. 2.2
- Continuous Drain Current (Ta=100deg C) 1.6 vs. 1.42
- Pulsed Drain Current@10v 10 vs. 9
- Power Dissipation 24 vs. 57

All other params are same. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.
