problem with hum on left channel

Posted by bsaul123 on July 19, 2016 at 07:04:03:

My new Elekit TU-8200 has been running fine all week. This morning when I started it up there was a loud hum from the left side (I am using Senn HD600 headphones). Volume is at zero. (If I input music, it comes through on both channels. I changed tubes, cables, headphones; no difference. So I opened the amplifier and checked everything according to the "troubleshooting" in the manual. I touched up the soldering even though it seemed fine. No change. I did all the above again and the problem is still the same. The hum exists even with no music being input.I would appreciate any help I can get.
