"ARL" where should I start. Had a Wadia 27 two times previous I was buying the SACD hype so traded my 27 for a moderately modified Richard Kern Sony SCD 1 player and balanced placette passive the SACD sound very nice but the Red book performance just wasn't totally 3 dimensional and not fully fleshed out especially the vocals. so enter audio aero Capitol 1 images more 3 dimensional and vocals are more real but bass isn't quite defined enough and weak. Enter Capitol 2 much improved bass fixed everything defined and powerful now. Player is considerably better than Capitol 1 overall in all aspects. The dynamics weren't exactly the greatest though. Mietner SACD is just $too much for me currently so enter Wadia 27ix and Wadia 270 clocklinked via xlo AT&T glass cables. The vocals are totally fleshed out now better than I ever heard before period and the dynamics are better also still doesn't have 3.0 Software yet. I never directly compared the 27 with the Sony or the Sony against the Capitols or the Capitol 2 against the 27ix/270 but it's definitely better. Guess that's why I have owned 3 Wadia 27's now. Thinking about a Wadia SACD system if ever is available would be absolutely awesome.
