I agree regarding the modded DIO

I don't know if it's the best DAC out there but it's hard to beat for the money. I picked up a used one with a Bybee power supply that was modded by Wayne at Boldercable.com and it sounds very good. I hope to do a comparison between this unit and a Modwright P3A (EXCELLENT PERFORMING DAC) soon. Tried to do one recently but the owner of the P3A did not have a transport that accepted digital coax. The DIO only has a digital output and the Classe CDP only had balanced and toslink. Hopefully we can get this comparison done soon.
