Don't know if this helps, since I don't know if the Njoe uses the same transport as the Tjoeb, but I have the Tjoeb and it reads every CDR that I put in there, whether one song or twenty, regardless of burn speed, etc. I am led to believe that the reviewer with a bad experience with CDRs past 40 minutes had a defective transport.
