RE: Some Say Vinyl is an "Obsolete Technology".......

I used to do Vinyl. I don't necessarily call it 'obsolete', as the people that I know that still spin Vinyl, confess that they like the 'ritual' of Spinning a Vinyl disk. They admit to me that listening to Qobuz is equal in sound.... But when you have a $12 Grand Turntable, and $5 Grand record cleaning machine, you gotta use it!
I compare this to a Wood burning Fireplace. Although heating a home with a Wood Burning Fireplace is not the best way. I certainly understand the 'ritual' of lighting a fire and sitting in front of it's warmth. I would not try to convince people to get rid of their fireplace or turntable for that matter...
Myself, I am all done with Vinyl, as well as wood burning fireplaces. I will admit to loving my Remote controlled, instant on Gas Fireplaces. I have two of them !!
