Terry, I am aware of but not very familiar with screen share applications for Mac (aka VNC and similar). I never use them. When I ran Roon strictly on the Mac Mini connected to a wall mounted TV monitor, I used the compact Apple wireless bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth mouse by Logitech.

For the iPad, I am running the dedicated Roon Remote which provides a user interface into Roon that is nearly identical as what you interact with on the Mac itself. Of course, it is strictly for controlling Roon and nothing else.

Roon Remote is a free download from the Apple App Store.
