Roon on M1 Mac Mini and Node 2i for streaming?

I want to do this with the Roon software running on a M1 Mac Mini which is connected to the router via ethernet as is the Bluesound Node 2i. The Mac Mini USB out to a Cary Dac-100t.

Will this work to allow Roon interface to the Node 2i streaming services and streaming Node 2i audio to the Cary DAC via the M1 Mac Mini USB out? Seems like it should but I don't have experience with Roon other than reading about it.
