Charles, I also use dBpoweramp to rip and still do most of that on my PC even though it is now also available on Macs, which I prefer for almost everything else. One dBpoweramp feature that is not available on Macs is HDCD processing. That feature offers an option to boost the signal by 6dB. When would it be appropriate, or the converse, to use that feature? Thanks much for a fascinating lesson on HDCD.
